I generally agree with you on the importance of music in video games, but I think Dark Souls’ lack of it throughout reinforces the themes of the game, and makes the music that much more effective when it kicks in.

Yeah, and Jon’s WHOLE PLOT was, “go to the wall, because you can never be a legitimate heir/ruler,” until that changed. So, shit changes. Jon can be heir to the iron Throne, and Theon can be a Greyjoy and a Stark.

Except for the deaths that occurred off-screen, like Ned Stark, Stannis, etc.
