I worked for a childcare facility in the very VERY wealthy suburb of Montecito, CA. I made minimum wage, and the parents were always complaining about the “high cost” of having their kid in the program.

I think if there were social media in the 1990s, the memes about the Clintons, Chelsea included, would be absolutely brutal. As it is, the right wing conspiracy Hillary Clinton talked of (and seems to be right about) was pretty brutal about the whole family, even Chelsea’s looks.

Hillary Clinton (the next POTUS) was absolutely right when she called it a vast right wing conspiracy. It was. They never stopped. I am an old and I remember those days. Yes, Bill played into their hands with the Lewinsky affair but the Republicans were insane about him far before that.
