I don’t understand why they don’t G-League him. This is pretty much the optimal situation for it. Guy who needs live game reps, but it doesn’t matter if it’s against real or shitty competition, just so long as it’s in the flow of a real basketball game.

The thing that strikes me is how little he moves, on both ends of the floor. It’s not laziness, he’s just overwhelmed out there. Understandably, because with him, in year 2, it’s not about hiding his weaknesses to play to his strengths. It’s that he hasn’t shown a single NBA level skill yet. It is a fiasco.
