This is a bummer but what would be cool is if Kotaku could be done with Jim Spanfeller, a man who is both an herb and hilariously bad at his job.

The “boop/beep” thing was a direct insult to Pedro Pascal, after he put pronouns in his bio as a show of support for his trans sister. Publicly attacking the star of the hugely successful show you somehow landed a part on is exactly the kind of stupid-as-shit career move that leads directly to working for Ben Shapiro.

People who make food for children are still called “cooks.”

Yes, this is a brand-new term that no one has ever used before.

FFIV (II in the U.S.) is a great one to start with. Not as good as 6, 7, 8, or 10, but not as generic as the ones before. IV will give the newcomer a great story and characters to care about, while letting them build into the better games of the series, VI being the best!

“If you find yourself thinking you’re about to say something inappropriate, PIVOT to a new topic of conversation.”

No matter how many brown children get in the way.

When will your blood lust be slaked?

How many blown up or starving Palestinian babies equals the rape of one Jew?

I haven’t read the comics, but I don’t think the character had a prosthetic leg in them.  So, that was just added in after she was cast.  They just had to find a deaf Native American woman.

After the absolute savaging that Secret Invasion got, this comment is even dumber. Gasp, two people on the internet had different thoughts about a thing.

One lovely surprise is the thorough denial of the idea that Maya owes her grandmother a single fucking thing, no matter how bad she currently feels about disowning her. That’s especially nice to see after The Color Purple and its moral that abuse victims should fully forgive their abusers and become friends with them.

It’s very promising that all the negative reviews are along the lines of “Too much Echo, not enough Daredevil or Kingpin.” Oh really, the title character is the focus of the show, and somehow that offends you?

Seriously? Are you for real?

Okay, now that I’ve watched the episode, here’s my favorite moment.
The Doctor sadly saying “I’m adopted, too” when talking with Ruby.
YES. THANK YOU. HOLY CRAP.
The Timeless Child has been all about the “lore” of the show. Chibnall never looked at it from that perspective, despite (ironically) being adopted himself.

How

Ending on Archer and Pam was such an unexpected, delightful, perfect button on the series. I’m glad he and Lana got that moment, but Pam is the beating heart of this show. I’m so glad that the two television touchstones of my 20s (this and The Venture Bros.) both landed the ship beautifully, after that looking

This is a hilarious instance to get upset about what you’re claiming though. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is already a deliberate attack on the straight white male protagonist. Scott Pilgrim is not a likable character (that was a big part of why I had mixed feelings about the movie). The point is that he’s a selfish

Nah, it was actually great, and a majority of the criticism comes from people who can’t process stories they don’t immediately relate to.

People incapable of character growth hate character growth.
