The allegations were made public in 2018, and his last long term gig was the quickly cancelled Ren & Stimpy reboot from 2003. His credits for the last 20 years are mostly commercials and shorts.

John K. had multiple cancellations and firings by that point, it was easy for people to abandon him. They might react a bit differently when the gravy train is still going.

The backstory for the cuirass was that it was made for a prince to fight his brother, so it finally getting used in the battle between royal siblings made sense.

I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords.

I happened to see the English voice cast for this and found it amusing that the only Japanese person in the English cast was playing the one character with a European sounding name.

I still can’t find that supposed ‘continuity error’ people have been whining about for *five years* after actively looking for it.

This isn’t really about the story, but that header image makes me realize that Kiri is the only Na’vi or Avatar character that I instantly recognize as their actor. Not even Grace’s Avatar in the first movie.
