Drive media is only part of the equation. I/O matters and so does the OS. I can't speak to the I/O on the Wii-U but the OS is somewhat sluggish from my experience and from what I've read. Win8 is pretty well designed for quick response times. The Wii-U OS has gotten markedly better but it has a way to go IMO.

Now if they can just get better friends notifications and updates. Maybe someone can help me here. I just want to see what games my friends have, to know if I can invite them to play certain games.
