My husband is working midnight shift (7pm-7am) on xmas eve and xmas day this year (deputy). we have a 5yo and a 1.5yo. i’m bummed.

Though I admittedly don’t know all the details, it seems the judicial community is letting them get away with it. the law enforcement community keeps arresting them.

Washing my face and changing into clean pajamas is enough for me to feel clean enough to be unconscious for a number of hours.

If I am especially sweaty during the day (working out or something) then I will add in another quick shower before bed, but even then still usually want another shower to get the day started.…

yeah no. I have long, thick hair. It takes 15 minutes or so to do a shitty job, longer if I actually want it to look decent. (I still don’t blow dry it in the AM for this reason, but I can toss it up in a bun wet...at night wet hair just makes me cold all night. It’ll still be wet in the AM, too.)
