From what I can tell Bungie actually seems to have a decent reputation among current and former workers, employees a fair number of women and POC, and is trying to get things right even despite the occasional fuck up. Good for them.

Hell, I’ve had to download games to transfer saves even though I had my PS4 still hooked up at the time. It’s not like you can keep every single game saved to the unit anyhow.

You can play the PS4 version on the PS5 with cloud save data...

Unfortunately a lot of games require you to log into the ps4 version to initiate the transfer of your saves. Sony really needs to fix this stupid system, but I guess it will be less of a problem as time goes on and people bridge fewer and fewer games between generations.

It’d hard to draw any useful conclusions from Titanfall 2’s sales numbers because EA sent it out to die. As I recall, it dropped smack dab between major CoD and Battlefield releases? Which… Battlefield is also EA, and they didn’t even pretend to give it room to breathe. The fact that the community keeps bursting back…

‘This will be totally horrible!’ lacks a certain weight, just rhetorically, than ‘this was totally horrible’, for sure. Like, you’re not Cassandra, random YouTuber person upset about this. Maybe actually play the mode with the new changes once they go live, then work your audience into a froth, you know?

I fully expect Fighters Destiny, Quest 64, Chameleon Twist, Tonic Trouble, and Rayman 2 to appear. And lots and lots and lots of racing games.

The core real complaint is that SBMM makes it so that good people have to sweat every match. If you’re at a certain skill level in the game then any reasonable amount of SBMM means you’re gonna face 360 noscope gods almost every match.

Now, I’d argue 2 things against that. 1) Trials is the pinnacle end-game of PvP, so…

The pegboard will be a hit with the battlestation/mechanical keyboard communities. As will the CPU stand.

I could do without the tacky “gamer/techno” pattern on the pegboard bands and the the standing desk legs. Otherwise I might consider the standing desk.
