When “Show Pending” is enabled, only a small number of posts will appear per thread. If the grey is in the first X replies (I think it’s around 5?), then great, you can reply. Otherwise, it may as well not exist.

Yeah I love how it was just done as if it wasn’t a big deal at all. Sort of a “oh by the way..” situation.

Somehow, Kinja gets worse every week. Clicking on notifications just takes you to the story, not the actual comment that got replied to, which can be a problem if you’ve commented on several threads. On Firefox, I can’t expand the hidden comments more than once; it just stops working.

Grey posts being shown in Kinja have been crap for a long long long while (thanks Herb) even though Show Pending should work from time to time, at least for me. It’s Schrodinger’s comment section.

I normally click on “Show Pending” and navigate to the replies, but that doesn’t always work. Sometimes grey comments just disappear into the void.

I could ask you all to write your comments on a postcard and send them to my house and it would work better than kinja, but 🤷‍♂️

All my friends left the game during or around sunsetting. I called it “clan Collapse Syndrome” like with the bee’s. I went on PC and joined a huge clan and spent some time playing with randos there. But for some reason, this season (pretty sure it is the witch queen hype,) they all started coming back. A bunch of

I think you’re right, and I also think it’s kind of easy to weight what ‘we, the established players, know’ a little too much against ‘what a new player needs to know’ to enjoy the game.

Part of that ‘people are quitting right and left!’ perception, I think, is just skewed by that old fashioned, social-media style ‘the unhappy ones tend to be the most voluble’. Essentially, in places like this - comment sections or reddit threads or twitter or wherever - you’re mostly only going to hear from ‘Destiny

I think it definitely depends on how you want to approach it; at this point, I mostly engage with Destiny like a TV show - I give it an hour or two a week, more when it gets ‘exciting’ around premieres or finales, and more when one of my friends wants to ‘binge’ it. (Okay, that’s stretching the metaphor, but you get

I feel like the thing that kind of gets overlooked when it comes to discussing Destiny - in particular, how well it ‘feels’ to play - is how well that good ‘feeling’ can then translate into a gaming experience that’s just as involved (or passive) as one would like. Want to spend an hour taking on the hardest

AH SHIT, IT’S A BOTW2 SURPRISE INFO DUMP!

For issues related to actual vulnerabilities (not cheating to gain advantages in the game, but using weaknesses and flaws in a program to gain unauthorized access to a computer system), I have not seen any information to say that this is legitimate. There have been no IOCs (indicators of compromise), no proof of

I’m so pumped to get to work alongside you Isaiah! And also very much looking forward to what solutions journalism turns up for the problem of anime.

This sucks, for the employees, for anyone who enjoyed their games, for the people of Texas and nationwide who are increasingly endangered by this shit.

I tried to do a clever dig, but man. Fuck you John. Eat shit.

I didn’t! I’ve now left an update at the bottom of the post clarifying this, thanks everyone!

That was really considerate of them to make this game just for me. I never thought these parts of my video game things I like” Venn Diagram would overlap.
