It’s always interesting to me which seasons hit for which people. There are a small number of universally beloved seasons, and a small number of largely reviled ones, but mostly they’re somewhere in-between. All of which is to say, Season of the Splicer, as thematically cool as it may have been, is the least I’ve ever

I think it means surprise... surprise and fear... fear and surprise... it means fear and surprise... and ruthless efficiency... it means fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency... and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope... amongst the things it means are such elements as fear, surprise... I’ll try that again.

Blasphemous generated huge early interest largely on the strength of its dark, Spanish Inquisition-tinged visuals

I like that there’s apparently even a “woke SJW” version of doing crimes and killing people. Somehow this game where you steal cars and murder people is too PC? WTF?

It’s weird that all of y’all in the comments are acting like it’s news that tons of people thought Ghost was mediocre. Kotaku and most of its peer sites said as much when it came out. It’s a competently made open-world action game with a strong aesthetic. Nothing more, nothing less.

This is a great blog written by a very handsome boy.

an excellent new voice in journalism.

Yay! Patricia’s back! Yay!

Your voice will be missed here Riley. Even in the past year and a half, your daily posts about what was going on really helped pull me and many others through some tough times. I wish you all the luck on what lies in store for you!

It’s very weird to watch the Kotaku I’ve lived with ‘Ship of Theseus’ itself over the year. It’s still Kotaku but that’s just a brand, it’s the writers and editors that we come here for and it’s always sad to see them go.

Go on then.
