Have you ever wanted to turn that humanoid enemy into a pinata but they keep turning you and all your friends into fresh corpses instead? Have you ever wanted just to get free crits with every melee swing? Are you tired of missing?

Mine is a tone that constantly varies between 750 hz and 1 khz, and some higher frequencies at ~4khz. They’re always there, and present during tv shows and such. It was life-ending mentality for the first 6 months or so.
I honestly forget I have it until some one (curse you) brings it up.
I just notice I have worse hearing in one ear until I really think about it, or it’s really quiet.
It’s a high pitched eeeeeeee.
My wife suffers from tinnitus regularly, and the worst part is that it is triggered whenever she hears the tinnitus sound in a movie or game. You never realize how many movies play the tinnitus sound until it is an issue for someone you care about. Kinda frustrating really
Mine comes and goes as it pleases and it's a high to medium porch single tone. Before and after it starts though, it sounds like I'm under water, like everything it blocked for a bit.
I have a constant, slight ring. Sometimes, though, the hearing in my left ear will be completely replaced by that light ring for minutes at a time.
Mine sounds like the sound old TVs made when you turned them on and they started warming up.
Anxiety can also induce a tinnitus-like ringing... when I get super anxious my ears ring so loud I can barely hear anything else.
Mine sounds like when you switch on an old CRT TV, before the static kicks in.
Disclosure Time then, tinnitus is more in my left ear. It doesn’t really interfere with hearing but do notice that it’s kind of effecting my equilibrium, have gotten comments that I’m leaning to the left a bit.
Mine came on suddenly one winter day when the temperature dropped like a rock and now it is always there, in the background, except when it gets real annoying with seasonal changes/temperature changes.
I feel lucky that mine isn’t all that noticeable most times (except like now, when I’m thinking about it) but I hear…
Mine is like a constant tone around 4kH like from a tone generator.
my hearing will suddenly fade like a low pass filter was turned on or like I’m under water, and then I’ll get a high EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
mine is a soft “eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee” forever.
Waypoint Radio has been my favorite podcast since it debuted, and Waypoint’s criticism has been the best in the business, bar none. This really sucks.
Fuck, so many, many, many hours of entertainment from the crew. Hoping they can throw a private pod together a la triple click.
This sucks, there’s like...literally half a dozen major game sites still in operation right now. Everything else is getting ceded to [Jim Stephanie Sterling Voice] “iiinnnfluencers” who—let’s be completely honest—have the media/critical literacy of a drunk racoon that’s been in the sun too long.
People have…
This sucks so, so much. I will miss Waypoint Radio most of all. I hope eveyone lands on their feet and keeps doing stuff where I can continue to follow them.
uh, hello... Andor?
and that FoMo is exactly what Blizzard-Activision are trying to capitalize on here. Don’t break, do the grind, don’t let them win.
