This was a sobering reveal. Some of the most fun I’ve had in Overwatch has been duo-queue tanking with a friend. But the games they played on stream still looked fun, and they looked like Overwatch. I’ve gotta see a lot more before I can really decide how I feel about this.

Yeah I’m excited for a lot of these runs. Definitely going to make sure I watch the Outer Wilds run.

I’d say that’s fair. I suspect the game is in another one of those periods of slow population decline. Bungie is cranking out content, but it’s all pretty safe stuff based on what “works” for the time being. People who have had their fill of 3x7 upgrade grids, weekly story missions, and seasonal PvE activities that

Yeah, there are links in Ian’s post from yesterday.

If the herbs at IGN and Gamespot are going to react this way, how long until the G/O Media herbs do the same?

Just here to appreciate the featured image.

So given when you stepped away, you may or may not have heard about how they’re implementing the transmog system. There’s 3 new currencies, bounties you have to do, and a cap of 10 ornament unlocks per class (30 total) per season.

Playing an amount of Destiny, although some of the new seasonal drama has cast a bit of a pall over the fun Vex Tron shenanigans I should be enjoying. I’ve got podcasts to catch up on, so it’s still the best game to play while listening to those.

Got my copy in the mail yesterday. Looking forward to reading it.

I feel like this is the ultimate Monkey’s Paw topic, but even so, I want them to remake the Bomberman 64 games. All of them or any of them. Hero might be the best suited to a remake, but Second Attack was my favorite. Really go all out on them, too. Don’t just do the 1:1 remake like those Spyro and Crash collections.

Oh there’s no disadvantage to using them. Energy weapons help you break elemental shields and are affected by modifiers in certain activities that can do more damage.

Gonna be watching a friend play through RE Village for a good chunk of tonight, but aside from that I’m planning to play more Apex Legends. I’ve been loving the new hero, Valkyrie. Got a win the first game I played as her and haven’t looked back.

The OG Hung Jury was kinetic, and I seriously hope the reissue is, too. There’s too many damn energy weapons in the game as is.

Yeah I definitely used that gun a whole lot, like for the entirety of year 2. Basically until I got a Chaos Dogma from WotM.

Tron aesthetics are always a plus.

I feel like this comes down to both perspective and perception. I follow games a lot more closely than most people, by virtue of reading this site, listening to podcasts, following devs on Twitter, and consuming all manner of media related to games that aren’t just the games themselves. All of that stuff serves to

I’m looking forward to this. I tend to come back to Apex a couple times a year and it always takes a while to figure out how to shoot the guns again and move in a fight when playing the BR. This seems like a more direct way to recover my game sense. Better at least than running around for 15 minutes and then dying

I’m finishing up a second playthrough of Sekiro. I played it for the first time at release and so far I’ve been pleased to have retained a lot of the instincts that I developed (through much trial and error) back then. Nothing has taken me more than 4 or 5 tries to get past, and I’ve styled on dudes that bled me dry

Still not sure when I’m gonna get a PS5, but this game is high on my list when I do pick one up. I hope it does well with the current install base.

Oh for sure. That’s a great way to play that game, too. I’m just saying that for me it would be a similar muscle to the one Destiny flexes.
