This is why one of my biggest rules as a Destiny player is that I only need one Destiny. I’m not gonna go for the Division or even something like an Outriders or Borderlands that’s a similar concept with a less appealing texture. I’ve hitched my horse to one wagon, and that’s the only one for me. That allows me to

I think what I actively think of as my backlog isn’t that big. Stuff that I know I want to play but haven’t gotten around to, like Kentucky Route Zero, Disco Elysium, and Obra Dinn is on there, and I just need to be better at playing those instead of playing the same things I always play when I have the opportunity to

I’m suspicious of how sudden this feels, but maybe the signs were there and I missed them. Things have been so turbulent at ActivisionBlizzard lately I just can’t help but go “hmm.”

Seeing someone else report on Destiny has me wondering: Is Ethan on some kind of leave of absence?

Bring on the weird names, doomed women, and special boys.

I really hope they find him. Enough tragedy has befallen his family already. Darius’s son, Simon, is the rabbit who died on that United flight several years back.

I had a similar experience last fall. It was time to rebuild my PC and I knew all the new cards were coming out. But for budget reasons and just not wanting to deal with the stress of trying to snag one, I opted for a 2070 SUPER, telling myself I would resell it and upgrade in a couple years time. Fast forward a few

“catchy-ass soundtrack” i see you, ash

Just want to say, Nathan, I appreciate you for covering this beat.

I wish Darren had picked up that best Audio award, too, but still a great haul for a great game.

Fuck Amazon

So, uh... when’s Melee?

Aaaaa it’s too soon. I’m gonna have to make some time this weekend to get in there. I never got around to finishing my Nightmare run of the first DLC, but I guess I’ll have to get back to that down the line.

I think the most explicit way my relationship with games has changed is that I have more time in the day to play them. I don’t have a commute to or from work, which means I can stay up later playing games and there is also less time between the end of the work day, eating dinner, and the beginning of nightly gaming.

I get what you’re saying, and there’s certainly something to be said for making it less cumbersome to get what you need out of a social space, but I dunno, I wouldn’t want to see the Tower go away in Destiny. It’s part of what I feel gives the game its sense of place. Running around the Tower is a grounding experience

Greydwarves are irritating enough that I would consider doing this and not even bothering to stick around for the resources.

Kirk rules. This cover is very strong.

As I have been all week, I shall be playing Valheim. My friends and I started on Sunday night and have been playing constantly since then, whenever we can. We’ve made it to the bronze age and are gearing up to take down the Elder. The past two nights I’ve been working on roadbuilding, pathing out routes to and from

I still don’t have a PS5 and wasn’t planning on getting one soon... Kinda hoping Tim Rogers is right and they announce a PC release for the same timeframe.

Reflecting on sunsetting, it feels like a system implemented specifically to get rid of Recluse, Revoker, and Mountaintop. Cool but not overpowered weapons like Loaded Question got caught in the crossfire, along with workhorse legendaries that we’ve been grinding for. And most baffling, armor was lumped into this
