It’s great to hear that. It only seems fair, but I’m glad to see y’all making it official. Should lead to even better reviews moving forward, especially with some of the bigger releases looming.

I have as much nostalgia for this game as anyone else, but I share Jason’s trepidation. Looking forward to reading plenty of reviews come April.

My friends and I have gotten back into Apex Legends in a big way, so I’ll probably be playing that later in the weekend. They aren’t around tonight, though, so I’m going to finish off Rime, which I’ve been playing through on a whim after having it in my PSPlus library for a while. Oh, I’m also gonna be playing

Man I loved the Zero games. Played those to death when I was in middle school. I never played the ZX games, so if those are any good it might be worth picking this up to play those alongside the 4 games I know are good.

And what tact are you taking, Ethan?

Waiting on that one certainly paid off. I know performance was meant to have improved pretty dramatically between the demo and the full release, but I’d still feel better playing this game on a machine with more power than the Switch.

I’m also finding my way back to Breath of the Wild this week. I’ve been working through the DLC while trying to find the last of the base game Shrines. I also poked my head into Hyrule Castle for the first time last night, and maaaan that place is cool. I feel justified in wanting to save that for last rather than

So did you succeed in getting Cecilia to try it?

People have already made the point on Twitter that this probably would have been fine as the third or fourth character in the expansion pack. Another FE character is basically anticlimax, and yet I feel like FE3H was really popular, so there have to be some people who are happy about this? Right?? Or happy but

I’ve never heard that people were down on the second half of Doom. I guess that’s everything after Cyber Demon? I felt like it was a fun ride from start to finish, but I guess that the lack of new enemies and weapons after that point cuts down on the surprise factor.

Your games of the decade retrospective was the best one I read. Keep swinging.

Y’all are some real ones, and we’ll miss you. Fuck herbs.

This whole run was hysterical, even when the runner was flailing to finish the run at the end. Between this and the 100% Doom (2016) run, it was a solid Monday night.

Chapter 4 is the worst bit of filler in that game, though the countryside is a nice break from being in Vizima and the swamps. I feel like the first game Stockholm syndrome-d me at some point. It was one of the jankiest things I’d ever played when I started, but once I’d deciphered the UI and combat mechanics, I had a

I’m beginning to feel the same fatigue with the search for weapons. I already have a lot of really good guns. I’m feeling less driven to hold onto guns that might be good at some point or to grind for guns that could be incidentally better in certain situations.

I think this might lead to me playing the game less,

Not many things in games have made me feel as smart as figuring out the Quantum Moon, and the reward for doing so is fantastic.

Sorry to see you go, Cecilia. You’re one of the realest.
