There's a fine line here between how much is too much and how much you can get away with. Here in New Brunswick we had a particularly snowy winter last year. People weren't clearing their roofs because it as just coming down so much, every other day kind of thing. Next thing you know people roofs were getting so

I think even the non-turbo Forester in certain trims can look pretty good. I am biased - but my 2013 Touring model has some darn nice wheels and I feel the rear roof extension/spoiler adds a lot too. This came from a quick search but mine's that colour with darker windows (former owner was RCMP K9 trainer and blacked

Clicked expand to post this, but you delivered. Helps Kate's Dirty Sister is Canadian too. I'm also grey so no one would see it anyway.

I haven't done it yet, tho I will when it warms up outside, but I'm going to pair the X-Grip with a vehicle specific solution since I'll be driving my Forester for years to come. I'm going with the Pro-Fit ball mount that exploits a gap in the center console (can be found here). They have all kinds of mounting

That is one serious piece of kit. I wish I had some extra cash lying around - that would be an amazing buy. I mean - racecar for that money is pretty sweet indeed!

I'll just talk to myself in the gray here...

I just got home from doing dangerous tricks. They're fun! I'm in NB, Canada so we are getting today what NY got yesterday. Yeehaw!

I suddenly had to rewatch that. Thank you.

I want to daily drive the sh!t out of a sequential gear box like nothing else! Every commute and errand would be a raucous event, or tarmac rally stage. I have something new to dream about tonight - thanks Stef!

I'm living in the small but capital city of New Brunswick, Canada and there are 2 here I see all the time. Winter driven even. In Atlantic Canada. I'd like to call winter driving it a crime, but shit, I think I would too. The main barrier to buying one is the price of course, otherwise I'm sure we'd see them

Huh, funny. My old '01 Outback was 63.3" tall. Being 6'3" I found I had to sometimes swing my way in a bit funny - especially if I my neck/shoulder/back were cramped (I've got issues) I may end up hitting my head on the way in. I just got a '13 Forester over the summer and it comes in at 69.9" tall. Taller again but

I've been back and forth on them myself. I hate how many they are just because people think they are inherently safer because of their size. That is pure horse shit. My ex had a CRV and I did not exactly like it. Everyone has their own preference for driving dynamic and interior setup and this did not work for me.

My lady sent me this song after we had a wonderful lakeside lunch date but my Forester's damn console was in the way. I need a benchseated classic to roll in for parking.

Came here to post the exact same thing. I love it! I love my '13 2.5X too.

I swear by this or sneaking it in with smarties. I can swallow smarties but the fact its a pill freaks me out.

Ummmm, thanks. Hadn't seen this one yet. I guess I didn't need that money anyway. Between that and the 911 finish line set I'll probably loose a chunk of change as I don't see either being very cheap.

I've been partially getting around the local storage issue these days by using Google Play Music and uploading what I can/want to it. That way I don't have to worry about what music I want on my phone at any given time as I can stream it at 320kbps which is what all my tunes (most anyway) have been ripped/downloaded

I know what you mean, but I'm happy hauling the tools around with me because when I need them, I really need them.

I have this same bag though and, as an IT professional, I find it amazing. So much room in it for everything. Literally everything. I have 2 screw driver sets, spudgers, the iFixit magnetic mat, laptop power adapter, 2 phone ones, pens, multitool, flashlight, glasses cleaner kit and that's all just in that front

This is all I do with mine too. I get car hair on the entertainment stand and speakers so every week when I vacuum I quickly toss the attachment on and pass over everything up front.
