I really don't get the roof racks. Is it because they think they're cool? I really don't see these cars making it to a trail-head for a bike ride at all. Or to a waterfront to drop off kayaks or something. It's Friday and I'm confused.

Funny, I'm work listening to the Beastie Boys and of course Fight For Your Right To Party kicked in. Seems appropriate.

...but if you were hoping to drive it to the track, you're out of luck – the Sprint's not street legal...

Now that's a thorough undercarriage wash!

This video got really blurry for a bit. What poor camera work. Geeze!

I wholeheartedly support your venture. That would be an amazeballs build! You'll have to share pics if you do this!

Oh shit - you're right. This is embarrassing!

The Morgan is great and the options look wonderful but there is something it's missing...

I think it's broken - I can't pick a late 80s 3.2 Carrera. Some day I will have the coin for one... some day.

Ha ha! That's great! I feel not teaching my lady how to drive standard will keep my subie in better shape. She's the 'I can't pay attention type' and I know driving stick forces you to, but I don't think this would go well. Means as long as I keep getting sticks then I can be the only driver. I like that.

That pedal is like magic! I hope we can keep them forever!! A good friend's lady only drives standard (lucky guy) and she had to take a rental car for work and it was auto - she asked if the pedals were still in the same order and if the rental agency clerk was scared to let her take the car all of a sudden. She ended

I agree - typically not an option but if you have to ask for it because all you can find are autos it sort of makes it one. Being from Canada my favourite option I didn't think I would rely on is heated seats though! Great in winter and if you're back is sore on a long road trip throw it on - you'd be surprised how

I wonder if it's out there somewhere for sale now. Do want a V8 kitten!

I wonder if we are indeed missing out on easy money because we're stubborn. Still not clicking. Yet...

I tried looking at it twice yesterday. I bookmarked it in Chrome so it would come up at work. Just read it. I think I'm just lazy but a good worker is all. I actually don't procrastinate as much as I used to. I think.

What weird timing - normally Lifehacker is reading my mind. Actually, I think you still were but I didn't check the site out from home last night, so I missed this. I still preferred my route.

This is exactly what I'm hoping becomes of my 01 Outback with 213,000km (Canada, eh) on the odo... I've just picked up a 2013 Forester because I was done working on the tired old thing. I do feel horrible about it though. I love it and in the 2 weeks since getting the Forester haven't brought myself to clean it up for

An absolute favourite car of mine. I think it's my favourite in GT5 because the way it makes my living room rattle when it's cranked.

Well this and the comments were just great. Thanks!
