I just upgraded to the Premiere a few weeks ago...and yes, the new hd guide is way better than the old guide for/from the the series 2/3 models.

Exactly right....the comcast HD-DVR's have been and still are horrible. Software is messed up and the input lag from the remote's to action on the screen is, just unacceptable.

Same here, Comcast / XFinity charges $9.95 a month for their HD-DVR box and it's software + remote input lag has been (and still is) horrendous...I am more than happy to pay the $14 for the Tivo Premiere (I just upgraded from the series 3) with a multi-stream cable card.
