Beyond the graphics and cpu specs...I have been thinking for a while now that it would be fantastically awesome if they were to have an SSD in there as well. Probably not, I am sure their bean counters penciled that out as too cost prohibitive...

XBox Next....although those Apple people would get their panties in a bunch over that. LOL

Think about this...Kinect enabled Halo Wars 2...I think RTS are the one "hardcore" game that really has potential to fit nicely with Kinect controls. Really nicely if done right.

Plans change.

Then I think they should over do it...2 things I wish the next consoles will have, that they very well may not have due to the costs...a VERY healthy amount of RAM, and even more wishful thinking....SSD mass storage.

They should just save themselves some time and cut and paste the response they got from Microsoft PR people the previous times. PR-people-speak responses never change, they are like robots....a talking monkey could do their jobs.

Those are tough questions, especially if it is true a new console is coming a year from now...

Its more of MW1 and 2s campaign, I think a tighter well paced story element than MW2...but shorter. Someone who has played the prior campaigns before can easily be done with the story in 6 hours, even on the first playthrough...not even trying to rush through it.

If I had to bet, not until the next "generation" of consoles is released....if then.

Very true...I remember they kept on saying they were going to release a hdd as an accessory, and I think they did, but as an add-on for a game...FF I think.

I agree, like yourself, all of my friends, yourself and most others, I bought it because of the numbers..knowing there would be 4 packs and a net savings. But, the stuff that works on it + if players ever get the founders status extra stuff, is a nice bonus...when it works.

Yeah, I give this guy kudos for actually sitting down and giving what seems like an honest frank explanation..."we totally screwed the pooch in designing the database, specifically how it handles queries"

Same here, never got a game freeze, lag...occasionally, but I expect that. Have not played an online shooter yet that did not have similar problems with lag...occasionally. Most of the time though, no noticeable lag.

Very true.

If memory serves, it had an ethernet port, but only for LAN connection? Vast majority were setup and used as mine did, using 56K modem.

Yeah, it would take several boatloads of cash to do that. The kind of cash only very very large companies have lying around.....like apple?

I totally agree with you, for those reasons plus ea screwing them and not making a DC madden...even though nfl 2k was superior

I think, are those just north American sales?

I would think maybe it would deserve a bit of credit as the first console supporting broadband connectivity as well as built in hard disk? Think those are just a tad more important innovations than music and break away cables....

I think moshpit might be in there...not totally sure if it was/is hardcore moshpit or moshpit in general....I want to say it was hardcore moshpit, but not 100% sure.
