Same here...might be my company version of explorer still being in the dark ages @ version 7 I guess.

Bottom line, more people play video games on consoles than PCs....THAT is where the revenue is generated, so that is where the focus of most of the major developers will be.

BS if the use of a controller is not about accessability....Even if they made them available, the vast majority of people that play games on a console, from their couch / easy chair, are NOT going to want to play with a keyboard mouse setup.

And the platform that sells less copies of a game would be long sighted? How do you see the quick-profit bubble bursting?

It does seem like the consoles have reached that point again, in their lives where the PC versions of the games start making it obvious how old the consoles are.

Seeing as how that "quick profit" provides the funds to keep their paychecks from bouncing, their mortgages paid and food on their families tables...yeah, they are going to develop the game for the platform that will sell millions of copies, not the one that will sell a million.

Bottom line, it is a business, I dont think it is a case where they are doing something because it is, or is perceived to be, faster or easier.

Yeah, but how accurate and up to date are they? Is there an App that covers the entire U.S.? All local cities and municipalities?

But, then some enterprising people will in the meantime develop an App for the phone or the car that ties in to navigation that will have all red light cameras and all of these speed traps located. Thus constantly providing warnings through the NAV system when the driver is approaching the "danger zone".

Most people, enjoy "stuff", and nicer stuff is, well nicer.

I think to them, and even to someone like Gates, who is taking active participation (as many do besides him) in giving the money away to the causes he feels strongly about, to make a difference with the capital he has accumulated. Or some people choose to leave it to their kids, the Paris Hiltons of the world. But

You mean a long time ago as in less than 24 hours ago? Because the quote is from a talk he gave at the University of Washington last night.

Meh....you get older, you gain more and more perspective on things, and usually you get a bit mellower.

Makes me kind of wonder....what happens to Jobs fortune, stock in Apple and all that?

LOL, exactly, pretty sure those kids need his money more than danzinnyman...

Well, to be fair, the exact quote was "I can understand about having millions of dollars, there's meaningful freedom that comes with that, but once you get much beyond that I have to tell you, it's the same hamburger."

I agree...it's just childish cock-a-mamie nonsense based on a coincidence. But she and others can easily get their supporters all frothy at the mouth by tossing that stuff out there.

Maybe he had some sort of privacy paranoia about people knowing is plate number?

Exactly what I was thinking, all your doing is setting yourself to get pulled over all the time by cops. Cop looks at registration and sends you on your way, but I would seriously think it would be a time waster to be continually pulled over like that.

So in the future we will all have our own personal car and drivers?
