Well, does not cost the delivery guy anything except his time and lost revenue from tips. Costs the pizza place owner $300 or so.

Not sure if he missed it or not, there was a whole article / post yesterday on the discovery of that room though...

Having played 4 hours or so last night, I went into it thinking the comparison would be to L4D. But I think more appropriate would be as others have said in other posts, most similar to Borderlands...which is cool

I can see how it may get mixed reviews for different aspects, quirks, problems with the game and the big problems with the PC version.

I agree, I played for 3 hours or so last night with a friend doing co-op...we had a blast.

Well, he did specify that was after character selection and preamble...Other than exploring on your way to the bottom of the hotel i would agree the game really does not "start" until the shack.

Same here, or the 4th option, waiting for a price drop...my spidey sense is tingling that I bet they drop the price(s) by $50 on all models sometime in the next 6 months. Just my gut feeling though...

Yeah, that is the one I was really looking at and drooling over...but at first they said "sometime in Holiday" and now they are saying "sometime AFTER Holiday", which basically means sometime in 2012.

Exactly, cops or no cops....whether I had the phone or not I would not let them in my house, and I sure as hell would not let them anywhere near my computer without a warrant.

True enough...some of those services are already "creeping" into the cable boxes and my Tivo as well. And as for the Tivo stuff, me personally, I like the Amazon on demand + netflix integration. Youtube is there, but I have no desire to use it. Hulu, I have never really gotten into. I just like recording all my

OK, yes your totally right and I was way off base...before going on their shopping spree to buy other companies patents Google did not have 17 total.

You see, now, no offense....but all of that just screams niche, very very small niche.

What are you basing your contention on that Google knows patents? Google, at least until recently, had like...what, 17 patents. Period? And all of those were the basic patents for their search algorythims and such.

Why would it be cool? Put another way, I am curious, what is it that is supposed to be so cool and awesome about Google TV?

On the flip side, whole bunch of homes now realize and more realize every day...especially with the other "smarter" tvs and boxes like Tivo and others....

I dunno...regardless of iPhone or not, it is the one unique appeal of their service that makes them distinct from the competition. And right now, regardless of the t-mobile stuff, they are a (distant?) third place in terms of # of customers.

I rarely feel the need to get into the role of the grammar police commenter...but I saw that in the story and it was just so glaringly obvious.

Hard to say, does not seem that way with this game...they said from the get-go that (at least thats what they said) it would be one of those rare PC-first, console version second developed games.

Again, you back up your anecdotal, incorrect generalization by doubling down.

It does not sound to me like the console version is holding PC-BF3 back. Sounds like the PC version is it's own beast / much better than the console version.
