Ah, ok, I see...I was thinking Black Ops. It was stupid of them to block party chat for any game beyond S&D I agree. I would hope they realized that too...

Well there you go, clearly your definition of hardcore and their definition are very different!

I sure hope they do...I love seeing split-screeners in the lobby! More the merrier!

They aint making boatloads of profit money on PC sales, and EA will not either...so why would you assume thye would bother to "stay in touch" with a platform that will be a tiny sliver of the revenue pie?

I would not necessarily say "seemingly"...it is definitely true, for consoles, that COD always has played faster and smoother than other shooters. I understand for some that is not necessarily a good thing, making it more of a "twitch" shooter than tactical...which is fine of course, to each his own.

There is party chat for hardcore modes, me and my friends use it all the time...no party chat for S&D, but that is not ever going to change.

Well, in reality Terminal had 3 levels...but I see what your saying.

Very true...

The books are awesome, I wound up just reading the books and having just read them, could not get back into watching the show cuz I already knew everything that happened, and will happen.

And Tiny Tower....showing off the true graphic superiority of the iPad!

Mmmmm put it this way, especially as far as the books are concerned, and the series too. If you enjoyed the Lord of the Rings trilogy, you would enjoy the show, but more importantly if you loved the LOTR books, you will really love the Game of Thrones book(s).

Well, released this morning technically at midnight....a nice little christmas present in July waiting for me on my kindle account!

They were, they are, but they reached the point where they were either going to do an IPO or sell. They looked at it and figured doing an IPO was too much of a pain in the neck, better to just sell to a company like EA which at least says it will let them keep doing their thing independently.

He lives in Seattle, he can switch to CenturyLink DSL, can switch to wireless broadband...you don't like AT&Ts data cap? Really, there is not other option available? No Sprint where you live? Or Verizon?

And eventually, with abusers like him, the providers will just not even bother capping the data. They will just stop offering fixed monthly pricing and charge it like electricy and water...a rate per MB or GB used per month.

Thing it did not say, and I guess Comcast did not tell him, was how much he went over the bandwith cap for the month.

Exactly, excellent points. I find stories like this annoying and amusing. People sitting there complaining about getting shut off that have either knowingly or through ignorance, been using an insanely high amount of bandwidth for a consumer.

Exactly, as others have posted, he should have been aware and./or Comcast should have told him the business account option (which costs more) was available that does not have a cap.

Meh....simple solution, Comcast should just do as Verizon & AT&T wirelesss is doing. Don't suspend your access, just make it clear, ok, once you go over XXX GB upload/download we are going to charge you $5 per GB.

PS3: It only almost does everything it used to do?
