"Yeah I am a couple of hundred thousand dollars in debt thanks to St Lawrence University"

Don't have to pay a dime for the game if you don't want to.

Have the 3000 minute plan myself with 4 lines, 2 of which are EVO 4g plans (extra $10)...all told, including taxes and fees and stuff....monthly bill is about $240. Which I guess comes out to $60 per line average, not bad for unlimited data and 3000 shared minutes.

Sooooo, basically as he puts it, he was being paid by the University to be a mentor to High School recruits...

I was going to make it a top priority but then remembered I was too busy, have to wash my hair...or umm something like that.

Yes I agree....it will be interesting to see how much they price that elite thing at...will come down to Map packs...usually 3 per game release per year = $45 vs annual subscription = ???

But you know, I make my own case...if they have fun playing it, and paying Zynga money for stuff. I don't really care, not the sort of thing I would spend money on, just like COD map packs are not the sort of thing you would spend yours on...

Personally, for the amount of enjoyment I get out of the map packs, especially zombie mode...$15 is good value.

I really dont think so....I do not think I am the only one who has no desire to feed Google any more power than they already have, which is way too much.

Exactly...I am not really a big fan of their games, would be somewhat interesting mindless fun if it was not completely designed to get everyone to piss off their friends trying to rope them into the game.

See....going back further than the world wars, or well, ok the old west...just would not work so good. 1700s & 1800s was muskets....everyone stood in a line across from each other, stood up, shot straight at the other line of solders then took 3 minutes to reload and, repeat.

Definitely need more sci-fi shooters then, certainly there have not been enough of those!

Well, um, yes I guess it would have american soldiers as the main playable characters...the Americas Army brand kind of gave it away.

Yes, your right, they see dollar signs in the console business because more people play games on consoles. That is where the most revenue will be generated for a game that they release that some will have invested 10s of millions of dollars in making.

My gut tells me Microsoft is not going to stick to the timeline that Sony sets...that they will shoot for doing the same as they did with the 360, release their console a year before Sony does their's.

I don't think they do...I thought the path is random every time?

I think I see a big Ring shaped object up in the sky?

What would be so awesome is if someday they can make an environment like this AND somehow have it be fully destructible, kind of like the DICE engine. I am sure for a huge city / environment this big that would be a significant programming effort and need much more processing / memory / graphics horsepower.

And, if your not a fan of parties and sometimes want to hear what some in the room are saying....mute works very well.
