It definitely contributed profits, a huge chunk? Not huge, but huge is a relative term...relative to the profits they got from Office and OS licensing, it is a pretty small slice. Definitely a good sized chunk of the total revenue though.

Arguments could definitely be made for Google and Apple....Sony, no, Sony has just as much been passed by. They are still rubbing the dust out of their eyes and wondering what that big apple shaped blur was that zoomed past them long ago.

Well, there is a slight difference in price between the two...

And, it works, for Live, relatively well, and more importantly, a relatively consistent experience across games...

Chicago Noire?

Ya know....a game like this seems to me to be a good candidate not so much for a sequel so much as a series of DLC chapters / cases / sets of cases with plot progression....like Alan Wake was supposed to be with regular episodic DLC releases to add on to the story.

I would myself, except I am not eligible till next October / November-ish...*sad face*. Oh well, maybe by then Sprint will offer a truly kickass WP7 phone....

Yeah, its not too bad though, unless it is a small map like Nuketown...not too hard with Ghost Pro and Strela's to take one of those things out before it even gets to the battle.

Cool....any chance you noticed who won the World Series while you were off on Holiday?

I have to think there would be some huge technical challenges to delivering that....but it does make me wonder if maybe it is an announcement of a deal similar to Sony's in the form of Steam support...

Curious...when was the last time Nintendo released a popular, new original IP? Nintendogs?

That is kind of weird....maybe something to announce similar to Steam support on PS3?

I would think throw in Uncharted and Gran Turismo...maybe, maybe Little Big Planet, but thats about it as best i can remember.

What is this Metal Gear Raising you speak of? Is it anything like Metal Gear Rising?

And games developed for the PC first? ROFL

Movie prop of a shrunken head...

You have a crystal ball or a secret time machine in your pocket?

I will be happy when they add more killstreaks, like the attack poodles I have been recommending for lo these many years.

Perhaps they will have added "movable" environments...after a certain period of time being occupied, the walls of the corner will begin to move inward, pushing whatever camper is occupying said corner into the actual game.

Someone should have shared the "beware of false profits" passage with the people that invested with Madoff....
