I am sure the NCAA member schools would all love to have this happen...makes it that much easier for them to comply with Title IX by adding the cheerleaders. which are already in most school's budgets, as a sport.

My understanding is it is only a limited number of very old consoles that are getting "bricked" from the update. Seems like it would be like trying to find the Wonka golden ticket type of impossible to "find" yourself one of those.

They haven't was not until the Slim came out that the systems came with 4GB built in. Version of the console prior to that had 250MB or so on board memory...earliest versions had even less.

I just found out last night, I already had installed all 3 discs, but once you reach that point in the story, yes you still need to put in the next disc.

Me three...I think the 2 I have now are circa 2007 or 2008 or so. Seem to be doing just fine, and I just can't pull the trigger to drop $300 on a new one. IF I could have used my current 120gb hdd on the new slim models I probably would have bought one by now.

If it was me, and your console is one of the ones messed up by it....I would much rather have a brand new S model with 250gb hdd than an update!
