As much as I hate seeing the Yankees/Red Sox/Dodgers/Cardinals every MLB team receives the same amount of money from ESPN. ESPN wants to get the highest ROI on their investment, so they show the most popular teams on TV to generate higher ratings, which garners higher ad revenue.

Why punish the kids if they had nothing to do with it? They were not the ones breaking the rules.

Why can't we celebrate the kids and punish the adults (as in bar them from participating)? No one will remember that the title was taken away from them, just that they won it.

But should the kids be punished? Should what they have done be stripped from them? The latter of which I am against here and the NCAA (where it comes up often), because when you are old and grey you won't say that you won it and it was taken away, but that you won it.
