Nothing good in my neighborhood, but one of my high school teachers drove the first version of the heritage Bullitt Mustang. The cool car to have in my school was a 5.0 Foxbody, so all the car guys in school drooled over it.

Rental shops and body shops I’ve passed in PA and NJ look closed. The Enterprise location I deal with for work is closed and has roughly 5x the normal volume of cars parked in their lot.
Honestly I’d give more than that, but you’re on the other side of the country. I’m just outside Philadelphia. I’m thinking I might try to scoop one up once all this blows over though. I’ve been just looking for over a year now but haven’t found any that make me want to pull the trigger.
I'll throw in a bid of $8300.
I’d wait. Once we’re over the hump with this they will be desperate to sell cars. Also desperate to make money though, so be careful.
1st Gear: There is definitely a need for service departments to stay open. As for sales, they have ways of selling cars without grouping people(salespeople and customers) into stores. Closing the showrooms would be a great idea, and minimizing contact between workers should be a priority. Ten salesmen hanging out by…
I’ve been in dealerships all week. Nobody is panic buying. There are still people turning in their leases and getting new cars or other similar things. Traffic is way down though.
You are nearby and that is so so tempting. Too bad I already have 4 cars and a wife.
So much this. I know a lot of dealership owners. There can be good money in it if you do it right, but if you’re jet-level rich, you’re not making that money off of dealerships unless you’re way into the double digits on stores that you own.
Maybe he’ll show them and give 1% of his net worth. That would be, what, $100?
I stopped going to the local Chinese restaurant after the owners got arrested for human trafficking. So they sold the restaurant to a family member who was definitely not involved in the trafficking. The only other decent closish place is like 25 mins away from me and the takeout is never ready until like 45 mins…
I’m pretty sure almost every single vehicle crash that ended in a fatality is described as user error, and it’s never blamed on the manufacturer. Thus far I haven’t heard of Autopilot resulting in the death of someone other than the user.
the car dealers who were suggesting this pathway were all selling new Kias.
The benefit is saving time setting up and taking it down. You can put your bedding in the tent, get to the campsite and just unfold the tent. If you’re in a rush or driving through the wilderness and stopping at random spots, it’s useful. If you’re parking at a campground for a few days, a normal tent is better…
Having been in both a lot, the Ranger feels dated. Despite coming out around the same time as this gen Colorado, it feels older. They both seem due for a refresh, despite the Frontier and Tacoma being way older platforms. The Ranger will get looks because it’s new in this country, but it’s not a new truck. The…
I just bought a 2-pack the other day because one of my cans ran out. I probably still had half a dozen cans around the house, although a couple of those are their newer variations.
I’m pretty sure this guy is a pirate.
While that’s true, a street I used to live on had ‘No Thru Traffic’ signs put up on it because people would cut through, often do double the speed limit, and there were numerous accidents. Someone pulling out of the driveway onto a 25 mph limit street might not have the visibility to see someone coming at 40+ mph, and…
Same here at my old house, despite signs that say ‘No Thru Traffic’ with occasional enforcement. I was the last house on the block, so if somebody followed me down the street and didn’t turn off before we got to my house, you better believe it’s going to take me about 30 seconds to pull into my driveway, blocking the…
Weird. I feel the opposite. Thought they were hideous when I first saw pictures. Didn’t like it when I saw one at the local auto show. Then I started seeing more and it started to grow on me. Then I drove a couple and now I want one.
