I tell everybody that AWD is helpful to get you going from a stop in the snow, but snow tires are for if you want to stop and turn as well.

Which engine did they come with? I’ve heard a good bit of bad stuff about the 2.7L, but all good stuff about the 3.5L.

I recently sold a set of used tires and got a similar thing, although it wasn’t quite the same. I offered them at a very low price, and very quickly got a few offers at asking price, to which I replied to them all that the first one to meet up with me gets the tires. One wanted to wait for his next paycheck, one

There are regulations about it in the wilderness area, but not where he was. They advise against it on their website because you could get stuck. Like this guy.

Thanks. She loves it so far.

We aren’t worried about gas mileage with this vehicle. It’ll just do local driving and go visit her grandmother that does live on a dirt road in the woods. We also have a Prius that we drive 25k a year. The Outback won’t get anywhere near that.

My brother recently bought an Outback, lifted it and put bigger tires. My wife and I just bought her an Outback and the first thing I did was put rally mudflaps on it. Now she wants a basket for the top. I like this trend. I don’t need to go fast, just a good daily that’s quite capable if ever necessary.

Having had a variety of pets and a kid, pets are way easier and cheaper, and yes, nobody else cares. Especially with any animal other than a dog. A kid is way more rewarding and, at least in my case, way more people care than I want to talk to. Both are worth having. No need to criticize people who’ve only done one.

I agree. We picked up an Outback recently and every time we go out with our 1 kid the trunk is full.

Yeah, we just got an Outback for my wife and every time we go out the trunk is full. With one kid. I can't imagine once we get to 2.

Rec Recently my wife and I were shopping for a vehicle for her. We looked at all the decent SUV’s and she decided on the 2019 Forester Sport. We were in no big rush, but after a couple months of not finding just the right one, the local dealership got in a 2017 Outback 3.6R for a little less than what we wanted to pay

Why do these people always have to go for the extravagant purchases? If I read an article that said the union boss embezzled $400k and used it to pay off his mortgage and start a college fund for his kid, I wouldn’t feel like he really needs to see justice. If I read that money is embezzled and spent on wine and

I’ve done all of the above anytime it snows and I’ve never felt hindered by ABS. Stability control? Absolutely. Even the ABS in my 2wd pickup that randomly activates on dry pavement sometimes just gives up when I start getting sideways in snow. My AWD SUV has no problems using the brakes for weight transfer while

Getting power from natural gas, coal, or gasoline is all bad. When it comes to moving cars around the country, the majority of the power is coming from those because that’s the cheapest way to do it. Until you get people to stop choosing the cheapest option, things won’t get better.

This has been my thought since I first heard the news. I feel like the only thing Jessi would’ve cared about is how fast she went and if she broke the record. And that’s all I’m really interested in knowing.

Got it from Turo in Los Angeles for $109 a day. Seemed like a reasonable rate to me. The same car is still on there.

Yeah, from you. Thanks!

That would be my wife, not me. I enjoyed the car, though, so I won't argue.
