This Sherlock Holmes game is obviously way more intricate and interesting, but reading this gave me a flashback to my childhood playing an awesome boardgame called “Scotland Yard”. Anybody else remember that game? My friend’s and I played it over and over again for hours.

Exactly. When I was a kid there was a woman down the road who was going to repaint her house. She found a deal on some bright pink paint at the local hardware store so she thought she’d save some money on primer. She had every intention of painting her house a “normal” color once the pink primer dried.
