BMW can fuck right off. They’re gonna make tons of money on it though, because BMW buyers aren’t exactly bargain shoppers.

Turkeys are birds.  Your argument is invalid.

I’m in Minnesota and if I was even remotely interested in buying one of these I’d fly out there and drive it home. Engines and all driveline can be rebuilt or replaced, suspension components can be replaced or upgraded, but rust is an unbeatable cancer. I bet one of those in that condition over here in the Great Lakes

They’ll eventually have to figure out that if you wanna play the PREMIUM! game, you can’t come to the table with “It’s nice but kinda slow.” I’m holding out hope that someday, some skunkworks team will cram that 2.5T in a manual AWD 3, and I’ll buy it immediately.
Or even better yet, they make a 6 Signature wagon with

Considering how much people piss and moan about all forms of automatic transmission being slushy, unpredictable, unreliable, etc... it still surprises me that people actually buy manuals so rarely. I have yet to hear about a manual providing any unpredictable behavior, or being unreliable when not being raced or

I was all fired up ready to attack because my brother’s got a blue on light blue e36 convertible and we both think it’s a good looking car, but I see that’s one of the exceptions. That said, this is tagged as a rant, and therefore opinion, and everybody’s entitled to that. I think the red on grey/silver examples look

Was just going to say this. Got a 50' retractable hose reel and the compressor’s never run out of battery. Yes, battery technology has improved dramatically, but I have a hard time imagining that batteries are as much a lifetime purchase as a compressor.

Maximum CP.
If the exhaust hadn’t been cut off and it had normal street tires on it, it’d be a good first bike for someone. Right now, it’s an annoying, deafening, unstable and unpredictable bike that nobody should ride anywhere.

Why don’t they allow bikes to set official lap times?

Hot take:
The Hummer H3 was the last real Blazer. Body on frame, high/low range transfer case, 4wd, pretty capable offroad, decent towing capacity. People have been pissing and moaning about how the new Blazer doesn’t deserve the name, myself included. The H3 was way more of a Blazer than the current mall crawler.

And dying with it, our only chance of ever getting another El Camino equivalent...

Accurate. Even the 1996 S10 Blazer 4 door my dad bought in the early oughts was far truer to form. Yeah, the roof didn’t come off. Yeah, the thing was small compared to true Blazers form the 70s/80s. But you know what it was? A rear wheel drive based, 4WD, body on frame TRUCK with a high/low range transfer case and A

Dear Mazda,

Man as much as I’m a wagon lover, the fact that there’s no manual option disappoints me. But then, is there any new manual wagon option in the USA at all?

When I was in high school, my girlfriend’s parents had bought her a Ford Escort hatchback. It looked like this one, but had a 5 speed manual, which was sweet. At first she was annoyed by that, but they said, “If you learn to drive a manual first, you’ll be able to drive anything.” I’ve always admired them for that.

It’s still so damn sandy and salty here in Minnesota, my bike is crying in the garage. It’s not coming out until I see a good rain and street sweepers.

Oooohh.... this reminds me of when the whole rave scene started hitting mainstream around the Minneapolis/St. Paul area around 1999/2000. God, we used to go to every party we could. Damn near every weekend. Pretty sure I’ve still got a couple of pairs of Caffeine pants floating around my parents’ house somewhere.

Maybe demand for manuals has decreased because they’re not offering manuals in the trims people want to buy? I wish there was a way to just custom order them. All the parts are there, it’s just a matter of getting someone to put them together.

No Manual? No interest. I’ll keep my 2016 3GT. That said, if they offer AWD with a manual, I might get a speeding ticket on the way to the dealership to buy one.
