My vote goes for legendary in a bad way. The GM Iron Duke, specifically the Tech4 or 4Tech or whatever it's supposed to be. Heavy, gutless, not terribly reliable. Bad on most fronts.

I don't know what they called it, but this car is the most suggestive...

@BrtStlnd: I hope you mean this Marauder and not that 'other one' from more recently...

@geistkoenig: Pretty sure that would cure my groggy mornings outright.

New desktop on the work machine!

This header spaghetti is beautiful...

@MN952: Ok, you're on MNSBR also, aintcha?

Absolutely the El Camino. A car couldn't be more appropriately named, really. It's prophetic.

@MN952: Mpls Polizei don't approve of most things that are fun. Oh well.

Correct me if I'm wrong, as I wasn't born yet when the Civic originated, but wasn't it kind of an econobox theory from the start? The impression I always got was that they were just good little cars. No bulk, no bullshit, just a basic car with a basic engine, and being so basic and light is what made them good. And

A friend used to have a T-Type, might even have been an '83. Loved that car. A dog until 10 mph, but God, when it spooled up, it would leave tire all over the Minneapolis streets....

@snap_understeer_ftw: Not sure if I'd call that specific benz the beige, but there was definitely a mistake made in declaring that Yota "beige". It's a tool, for work, and a damn good one. Nothin boring about that!

@OA 5599: I had never heard of that before. But it's awesome.

I must say, I'm glad to see the original ZR1 getting some love in this discussion! Was truly a shining light from the clouds during the 90s. All aluminum block, 32 valve 5.7 V8, from CHEVY? Just imagine what could be done with that driveline if they had just kept it around for some tweaking and turbocharging...

@nt_conant: I would have to say the original ZR1 is my choice.
