Carver County, MN used to have an unmarked Lumina, same color as the one pictured but it wasn't even a Euro. Base model. No light bar, no POLICE plates, no nothing.

@tempesjo: I saw that thing on the road once (Hwy 88 & CR D, New Brighton) it was a friggin BUCKET. The tail end hails from a Ford Escort wagon, and the fitment was far from perfect.

@EMTtech: I attend fairly C&C fairly often, do you have a car you display at the events?

YES! I work in Chanhassen, MN, less than half a mile from the Motorplex. There's profuse amounts of cool cars there every month for Cars & Cafe, and now they do a Cycles & Coffee day too. It's not all German and Italian either, got some sport compacts mixed in, a couple NSXs, DeLoreans, DeTomaso on occasion, classic

@Møbius: It would appear we have reached an understanding in this matter.

@Møbius: I concur, evolution moves slowly, but apparently de-evolution only takes about 20 years. All you have to do is incorporate the suffix "-control" to something like traction, stability, etc... and people will completely forget how to do it themselves.

@Møbius: Have you been ignoring the whole "Cellphone 911 calls from the drivers of runaway cars" thing"? Sorry, Darwinism is failing so far. I'll wait for the Automotive Rapture when all of the "well-behaved" drivers are taken to some Prius-filled cloud land, leaving me with acres of hoonable pavement all to my

@TexanIdiot25: II The Return: Same thing way north on I35 from you, here in Minnesota. I laugh at all the "bro-trucks" (I'm adopting that term, thank you very much!) in the near suburbs of Mpls/StP, but as soon as you get out to the farmlands, which are abundant, the HUGE, totally stock HD/SD trucks are common out of

@carcrazy73: Mine died at the hands of a 79 year old who turned left in front of me across a divided highway. Claimed he didn't see me coming.

My dad's 1982 Z28. White with silver ground effects and T tops. It represented every shred of freedom and hooliganism I had in highschool.

If Honda succeeded in making my VFR's 781cc VTEC V4 crank out over 100 hp, why can't they make one that's like 1500cc somewhere in the 160 horse range? A nasty high revving engine with a 6 speed gearbox in the CRZ shell would have real snotrocket potential, like the original CRX. Assuming they don't make it a bloated

Has to be Cruella DeVil's crazy old 12 cylinder whatever-the-hell it was. All I can think of about that movie is once scene where she looks like a crack whore while driving that thing with fire blowing out of the exhaust pipes.

TRI-CHARGER!!!!!!

I've heard this model even has a lightweight hollow spaceframe!

@Roberto G.: My morning has thusly been improved.

My first car didn't even have power steering! '84 318i coupe, no power steering 5 speed. Challenging parallel parking, but VERY easy to drive.

@The Cheat: Holy shit! How have I never seen that before?!??

@clevemire: It's been a rough winter in Minneapolis area too. That Christmas storm screwed us royally. There's still thick solid ice over tons of pavement in NE Mpls.
