If Formula E wants to be taken seriously, they need to ease up on the gimmicks. The fan boost thing is silly. Diminishing power because of a safety car is even sillier and I’ve hated it for awhile. Safety cars/cautions are part of racing and always throw an interesting wrench into strategies, it’s fun to watch teams

Wait what? Austin is the coolest of the new tracks.

Obligatory...

I sincerely hope that no one in that town owns an SUV or Truck... they wouldn’t want to be hypocrites would they?

I even do weekend racing in 24 hrs of Lemons, I wouldn’t give two craps if a crash of mine some how ended up on a highlight reel on youtube. I’d probably show it off to my friends if anything.

Horizon/Forza 7 has a solid stable of cars, Horizon has way more than I could ever care about.

Only things I want from the next Forza Motorsport:

Ever since Forza 5, it feels like Forza Motorsport has just been getting too serious and focused on online. Not a fan of the homologation system. I miss the days of tuning cars and testing them out on the Fujimi Kaido.

Fuck Haas and fuck Mazepin.

I mean, maybe. Unless you couldn’t afford them. Or you were too young when whatever game was new. Or you lived somewhere where the game wasn’t available. Or you didn’t own a PS3 or Vita. Or you weren’t aware they existed. Or you did buy them then, but might like to buy them again on a different system than you owned

I do not condone hacking any hardware that’s currently being supported, but when hardware is discontinued and the storefronts are shut down, when you cannot legally buy the things in a way that supports the people who created them, as far as I’m concerned it’s open season on modding.

This is like the anti-Supra. Understated instead of over-styled, distinct nods to its heritage. Give it the 400hp TT V6 and a stick, price it in the low-40s to compete with the Mustang GT and undercut the I6 Supra, and you’d have to win hearts and minds of enthusiasts everywhere, right?

Nobody is stupid enough to spend $90k on the same exact car that’s available for almost $40k less minus some extra leather trim.

It is amazing how this show has lasted so long on a premise of hosts yelling out far bigger names than anybody under the hood.

Gentlemen, a short view back to the past...

I suppose if you live in a predominantly dry climate that generally stays above freezing all winter, purchasing high quality tires and paying attention to your tread depth probably dont rank very high on the priority list.  Plus they tailgate at 85mph on a daily basis.  Oof.

The average Texan has no idea how to drive in icy conditions.

good ol’ dfw. Not so much snow, but a surprising amount of freezing rain. as in, you get thick ice layers.
