I have an alternate theory of why expensive cars are getting ugly. It’s because bland cars have become so good looking. I hate to tell ya, but even as an enthusiast, I’ll see a car from a distance and it’s hard for me to tell if it’s a Kia or a BMW.

The issue is that they don’t actually give a shit. If people buy it, why would they care? If anything it increases the hype around it, even if some are pissed off, the FOMO wins in the end, so it’s probably better for them business-wise that it goes this way.
