Imagine Your Boss Is Michael Jordan, And Imagine He’s Angry Enough To Hit You
Evil Thor would be a helluva twist, got to commend the MCU for their creativity.
Oh, neat, another pyramid scheme.
Boras is pissed because he weaponizes secrecy. His trademark is the rumored “mystery team” that gets a team to bid against itself. I doubt this affects their relationship much anyway. If a player says he wants to play in DC or says he will take the highest offer and Washington makes that offer, it is the agent’s legal…
Hell no! We are as committed to this bit as the Raiders are to excellence. Well, were.
I mean it make sense. You look at some of McKenzie’s big draft busts. First round picks like Amari Cooper and Khalil Mack aren’t even on the team any more. Can’t expect to stick around long with a record like that.
A note: Since the news in this blog is actually a positive for Jon Gruden, his redness has not changed. Consider this a very brief intermission.
“Mr. Davis, your case against Mr. Gruden has no standing as there was an exchange of Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper for future magic beans. That Mr. Gruden ate those beans thinking it would put ‘pep in his step’ is not the Court’s concern.”
Seeing how Mack and Amari Cooper are thriving in new locations should be enough to get Gruden indicted for fraud and/or grand larceny.
Should have gone with “Bulls have reached the Boylen Point”
So true. When five time NBA Coaching champion Greg Popovich does something nobody bats an eye, but when an interim coach does it, all of a sudden he doesn’t have the benefit of the doubt.
So basically they hired a twitter/facebook commenter. I bet he thinks Lebron sucks too.
IIRC, he was the first actor in 50 years to win the Golden Globe for Best Actor - Drama and not get nominated for an Oscar. It hasn’t happened since either.
Between this and Eternal Sunshine he really put his natural comedic talents to good use. When he gets too slapstick it wears thin in a hurry, and too serious the films usually faceplant. This style is right up the middle for him.
I’d argue that The Truman Show is just as cruel and ugly as “real life” reality shows. Reality shows may be ugly and vulgar, but at least the people know they’re filmed. The Truman Show really points the finger at a society that lets a man be so manipulated and trapped for their entertainment.
I recently rewatched this movie with my kids, and my god does it hold up. It is just as wonderful now as it was when it came out. All the performances are great, and the structure of the thing is so complex.
