I’ve learned to take everything I see on reddit with a grain of salt.

I previously worked at a level 1 trauma center in San Diego through December, and I can say with certainty that we had at least 1 scooter-related trauma every other day, sometimes every day. It ranged from broken bones to severe TBIs.

Not for nothing, but in Harper’s defense, Buxton is a top tier defensive player. Heck of a throw. A lot of other outfielders would have missed that one easily.

Hindsight is 20/20, but Darvish was far and away the more sure-fire trade at the time, especially given the Dodgers’ ability to refine pitchers and fix their bad habits (see: Rich Hill, Brandon Morrow, Alex Wood, etc.).
