The biggest problem was the dolt that decided it would be a good idea to spoil the John Connor twist in every single promo. Good lord was that a stupid move. IIRC, director Alan Taylor was pissed at the studio for doing that.

I’m cool :(

No doubt. Let’s see what magic (pun intended) we can work up this offseason. I’m not keeping my hopes up, but at the very least, the on the court product is better than it’s been since 2012.

I was never a huge fan of Clarkson. He can’t play a lick of defense, and his jumper isn’t reliable enough to trust him in clutch plays (IMO). Nance was a great energy guy, but ultimately expendable, especially in a league that’s increasingly moving toward pace and space.

I’m a disillusioned Lakers fan that somehow had hope that Derek Fisher would make that 0.4 second shot, and even I know dealing Deng’s contract would be the greatest miracle of all.

Fair point, but my statement was more about the good talent evaluation, even if said talent didn’t stick around. Josh Hart and Kuzma have been fantastic.

Notably, however, they picked up a first round pick from the Clarkson/Nance deal. And the Lakers, for all their maligning over the past few years since the Pau deal, have managed to do pretty well with late picks.

In case you didn’t know, you guys were shouted out on John Oliver’s show tonight!

I actually agree with this take... but since I scooped him up off the waiver wires to help me in my fantasy championship league, I have to disagree with it. Until after Sunday.

I know the Cavs have been struggling this year, but I really find it hard to believe that any Eastern team can win a 7 game series against LeBron.

Many wineries.

I hope you can make magical things like Mr. Bones’ Wild Ride.

This is the hard-hitting stuff that keeps me coming back to Deadspin day after day.

I like this idea!

I can’t wait to see whatever bit he does to address it on his show.

You could be right. It’ll be interesting to see. I’m guessing they’re waiting a calendar year so they can continue to milk out whatever meager returns they’re getting from the separate DLC.

I’m not saying it’s not possible, but with how poorly it’s been doing, are we even sure Capcom will put out a “definitive” edition?

I live in San Diego and Norv is definitely missing the rainbow sandals and shorts that are the uniform of San Diegans year-round.

Well, you see, I hope that he never gets off Fridays, and he works at a Friday’s that’s always busy on Fridays. Think bigger, Albert.

Yep, he overdosed on GHB, and then proceeded to fall while he was dancing. Hilarious story every time I think about it.
