I’m a Laker fan, but I’ll be the first to admit that Kobe has indeed hurt the team more than helped it in the past 3-4 seasons. Even if we make minimal to modest changes in the roster, I wouldn’t be surprised by a 5-10 game improvement in the least.

Don’t discount the possibility of a (decent) FA signing with the cap space and a now-Kobe-less throne. Not saying LA has the same appeal it once had in the mid-90s/early-2000s, but it’s still a tantalizing option especially with the raw youth now present.

I had the CSP/Freedom combo, and decided to add the Freedom Unlimited to my repertoire this weekend. CSP for any travel/dining, Freedom for the 5% rotating categories (currently groceries for this quarter), and my newly acquired Freedom Unlimited for any other purchases.
