I’m hoping the majority of the scares aren’t constructed of jump-scares. That would be really disappointing.

Me to the Sirens of Titans showrunners:

Wouldn’t it have cost him way less to design a small helicopter?

As a no-dialogue film it’s a much creepier and much more engaging film. The script’s not its strongest point, the characters have extreme amounts of disparity in their quality, but the visuals are a mix of gorgeous and terrifying.

I think Prometheus would be terrific if it didn’t have any dialogue and just had background music instead.

It’s the movie refit Enterprise for me - she’s just beautiful from every angle. I think part of the appeal is that it feels like the engineering section is suspended from the saucer and nacelles, rather than it propping them up. It gives the design a sense of weight.

It just looks like a standard subcompact with a million rebranded features everyone takes for granted.

Your experience mine sound far different.

Fuck off pigs, Thiel ain't SCOTUS yet mafacka

Knocking out heists is the main way. Or hit it on the weekends they do double cash missions. When they launched the Entourage missions, they were paying out a 3x, and I was making 90 grand a match.

I’m still pissed I can’t eat (rob) at a Clunkin’ Bell or Burger Shot.

I respect Rockstar more than a lot of game companies out there, they keep giving to the customer & there are no paywalls in front of the playwall to hurdle. If you play hard & grind a bit you can earn everything in the game, unlike a lot of these loser companies who are taking a fully made game, stripping out

The biggest axe against it being an alien megastructure project is the fact its an F-type star. F-types only live a couple billion years, depending on mass.

20% down in 100 years... so in another 400 years the Dyson Sphere could be complete, assuming they don’t run out of resources. I hope alien project managers are better than our own.

Yeaaaah, but not really though. The one up top is not really a concept car, it’s a show car. What they do is they take the near-finalised future production model and then put some weird wing mirrors and remove the windows. It clearly looks production-ready-ish. It doesn’t really count as putting a concept car on the

I think the fact that the original film, it it was ever actually finished, could have been a terrific disaster makes this documentary all the more fascinating (though admittedly, I haven't seen it yet). But the fact that Jodorowsky was going unabashedly balls-out for an ambitious passion project, and in the process

I'm told the museum has gotten glowing reviews.

Norstrilia still blows my mind.

To think that in an alternative reality someone could be watching a double feature of David Cronenberg’s Total Recall and Ridley Scott's Dune, now that would be alternative and totally awesome!

What an odd project. Looks similar to the concept art form the cancelled Dune version, for some reason. The mars flitter is like a rounded version of the ornithopter. In fact all of it looks very retro.
