A friend of mine died. I was really sad. I was sitting outside missing her on a bench outside of work on a beautiful sunny day. A lovely orange butterfly landed on my knee and hung out there for several minutes. It cheered me up immensely, and flew away.

Here is my vacation rental situation: I fly for twelve hours to get there. Anything heavy (pots), sharp (knives), or liquid (oil), I buy or borrow at my destination. I pack the smallest ziploc baggies with different spices, bring extra ziploc bags of all sizes, sheets of tin foil, bamboo skewers, matches/lighter,…

So I'm not a fan of banging people I work with. Too much awkwardness when things end, but I decided since I had so much in common with this one guy that when he came on to me, I'd bend my rule just for him. I'd known him for a year.

My brain immediately went to Key & Peele's East/West football team names. Seriously, that could have been one of them. LOL

Understood. The letter made me feel better, too. I sent it to all of my family members, who happen to be teachers. I can't wait to hear from them about it. :)
