Seriously, having an experienced genre-savvy character in the MCU would be great.

At this rate, the list of films we wish Del Toro had made is threatening to outnumber the films he actually did make.
Maybe it will end with him working at a farm.
God, I am so in love with Runaways. So far it’s everything I’d have hoped for (with the sole exception of a single Chase’s-character-development-at-Karolina’s-expense moment). The cast seems equally smitten, which is great to see.
While I will admit that Bendis is responsible for some great material, his work has really stagnated over the past decade (at least), and this is good news. He can work on some different characters over at DC, and fresh writers at Marvel get a chance to move up.
And THIS is why your popcorn costs twenty bucks, folks. No, really.
the way David Harbour fills that uniform, he can dance to anything and i’ll be happy.
Nah. I love a synced light show as much as the next guy, but Halloween decorations are about making things spooky and gory. The pumpkins and spiders are a bit cutesy, and the guitar and keyboard, while impressive, have absolutely nothing to do with Halloween.
Or, like, don’t cast Will Smith. There are plenty of other good black actors out there who can melt into their characters. I just watch this and think “Oh it’s Will Smith doing the same Will Smith schtick I’ve seen for 25 years now.”
Winky fade implies they fucked. I’ll take it.
You and me both. I imagine the Simpson’s “Comic Book Guy” making most of the droll observations. The show is fun. I like it. I am not bent out of shape about continuity minutia or what colors a uniform is.
Quite honestly? I have long since decided that if I enjoy a show, I stop caring about how it fits with any previous canon and timelines. In fact, I have even come to view discussions on such subjects as shows on their own right. If this thread expands to a full-on discussion, I might as well bring the popcorn.
THANK. YOU.
Its the same claim every show.
‘Salo: A Star Wars Story’ would be amazing.
Except the fact they are legal, and have documents doesn’t mean border patrol won’t shoot them on accident or throw them in prison for an undetermined amount of time while they get to paper work. Have you not been paying attention to how brown people are treated in this country?
I genuinely just don’t get the obsession with this show or what warrants it getting almost daily articles on here, especially considering the many genre shows that aren’t covered.
I actually really like Black Bolt’s non verbal expressiveness, and I feel like Karnak is well acted but they aren’t giving him much to do. Lockjaw is a big cutie.
