It’s lesser Marvel
It’s lesser Marvel
Indeed. I think Neil Jordan’s “Interview” film is an under appreciated masterpiece of nailing the source material.
The Daily Mail, a British tabloid with a reputation for sexist and occasionally libelous coverage, has published accusations from unnamed sources claiming that comics giant Stan Lee sexually assaulted and harassed a number of nurses working in his home.
Personally, I doubt that Stan Lee is that sort of person
I don’t entirely understand the editorial bent of this family of sites. If it’s someone we don’t like—George Bush Sr, for example—we presume guilt, but if they’re a sweet old man who revolutionized comics, we front-load a lot of information to attack the source of reporting before laying out the accusations?
Add my two cents on the video hate: stop it, please, stop it. At a minimum include a transcript, but, otherwise, video only “articles” don’t cut it. They take too long, they are difficult to quote from, and just feel like a waste of time to me.
io9, please, stop trying to make videos happen
The bombers don’t need an explanation. The interior of the bombers possess some form of artificial gravity, as evidenced by Paige and the release button falling. When the bombs are released, they will also fall until they pass through the force field that was containing the atmosphere in the ship. At that point,…
A delicacy in Kashyyyk’s south :)
How about pickled Porg’s feet?
Cute. Do like
He’s not wrong here. He wanted to try something new. To take risks and produce something original, and not just a throwback to the original trilogy. To make a Star Wars movie for the current generation of fans effectively, and so the angry fanboys are going to lose it and throw threats his way. This is why I’ve come…
And he totally did! I loved every little dig at the old movies, and this is coming from someone who has personally been watching since 1977.
There is a real problem within many fandoms with ‘gatekeeping’.
Well, he absolutely succeeded. I’m not so precious about my fandom to think that every Star Wars movie is either “OMG THE BEST EVER” or “OMG THE WORST EVER.” By revisiting and reinterpreting the series’ influences and blending it with his own vision to create something new while commenting on how legends are made,…
This is how I know you’re full of shit. Luke was a whiny bitch throughout his whole story, especially A New Hope.
The Last Jedi: Screw you fans, you’re impossible to please, you’re giving us your money no matter what, so sit there and watch the movie we wanted to make for ourselves. You might learn something but probably not so screw you.
Luke’s 1st Lesson: You do not OWN the Force.
I love this movie.
I loved it. No reservations.
Space Leia was cool. Nice that she finally gets to utilize her force powers in a way that’s unique.
Rey isn’t from some powerful lineage
