A C6 with dual mode exhaust wins out for me because of the not hateful interior, much more amazing noise, and more reliability.

Agreed... but early C3s can be pretty fantastic as well.

be careful of electrical issues... got a friend with a C5Z and he had to replace his entire wiring harness and BCM before he could get it right... Gorgeous car though.

Actually, I average 21-22 commuting in my C6, and I definitely do NOT baby it ;) Highway driving I can see 30mpg easy, and from what I’ve heard C7s are even better because of active fuel management and cylinder deactivation.
