My bike is glittery and purple! And currently has a flat rear tire from a damned nail. I hate dirty city streets so much.

It always drove me nuts how in the mid 90s, everybody and their mother was advertising these new fangled ANTI-LOCK BRAKES on their back windows, badges, even on wheel center caps. Read more

Maybe it’s just a Michigan thing here where gas station owners absolutely gouge premium fuel drivers.

I don’t quite get why you’d want a RHD car in the states unless you’re a rural postal worker on a mail route. They imported plenty of LHD cars, why go through the extra hassle here? Read more

Seems about 10k under market value... 20k in Colorado, Oregon and Vermont.

Anybody else remember back 10-15 years ago when the jump from 87 to 89 was ~$0.10/gallon and 89 to 91/93 was a similar $0.10-0.15? I’m not sure why it seems so out of balance lately. Read more

I LOLed and genuinely smiled ear to ear at the exit ramp anecdote at the end. Been there, done that, can’t wait to do it again!

I’m always happy to get one of these as a cheap rental. They’re usually pretty well equipped and drive well enough. I don’t think I would ever buy one though!

“If there is anything that this horrible tragedy can teach us, it’s that a male model’s life is a precious, precious commodity. Just because we have chiseled abs and stunning features, it doesn’t mean that we too can’t not die in a freak gasoline fight accident.”

Ohhh a 9000 Aero! IIRC these had something like 250 hp/250 lb-ft of torque, which was quite a bit for the early 90s. Read more

Yeah, a lot of these are either owned by the flat-billed hat types that drive the crap out of them and do some ill-advised mods, but there are a few that are adult owned still out there. I found my 330Ci from a guy who was the second owner (1st owner was a BMW executive lease). It was pretty high mileage but very well Read more

I can’t stand that they color-match the front and rear fascia insert pieces when somebody checks the box for a body-color side scoop. I feel like they look like crap equipped that way. (the silver car in your pic has this option)

Good buy! I still kinda regretting upgrading from a 2009 MBP to a 2014. For awhile I missed having an optical DVD drive, but I honestly never use it. Having an actual HDMI port and high speed USB 2.0 is great, and the retina display is fantastic, even if I have to deal with the crappy anti-glare film not liking my Read more

This is a ‘shop right? There’s no way they’d debut a new car with the old car’s wheels... I also hope the bodyside doesn’t end up that thic looking.

Super neat design sketches. Where did you come across these?

Go for it. See if you can find yourself a spare DI cartridge to keep in the trunk just in case, IIRC they seem to be one of the shakier parts on an otherwise pretty reliable model. The other thing I’d expect to see is lots of missing pixels on the interior displays. - EDIT! - somehow they’re all still there! NP!
