Yes this is especially dumb. Sure I can see a case for not talking about the next on promos — I tend to avoid most of them myself — but not talking about the stinger at the end is silly. It’s safe to assume if you’re reading the review you’ve seen the episode.

They’ve never really bothered to introduce the new actress as her mother, and both scenes she’s been in have been seemingly predicated on us recognizing her. Especially last night’s scene, whose entire hook was Kara — and by extension the viewer — recognizing this woman in her bedroom.

The 2014 “remake” — honestly, even after reading about it I’m still not sure what it really is — of The Town That Dreaded Sundown was written by Riverdale creator, and Marvel CCO, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, so that was a pretty direct reference using all that material in the show. Of course I didn’t know about that…

FWIW, the third one is probably the low point in the series, and the quality ticks back up in the 4th and 5th iterations, helped along by a return to a classic point and click interface. I’d highly recommend the 5th one at least, in addition to 1 and 2.

Agreed mostly, but I HATED the shot where they replaced the “H” in “HOSPITAL” with the “H” from the parking space sign. Such a weird choice and it didn’t work at all.

Is “pulling Slade Wilson into it” a reference to his role as Crixus on Spartacus? Because the dude playing Caesar is an alum too, he played Crassus in the final season. And so, as is par for the course with that show, I have seen both of their penises.

I do know this will affect how close I’m getting to booting my freeloading in-laws off my account.

I guess part of me is happy that we’re moving away from “sassy” as code for an effeminate gay man, but speaking as an effeminate gay man this dude is NOT sassy.
