The show was above all about the characters, and pretty much every character we had reason to care about had all their "loose ends" wrapped up. The rest is just mystery. Let it be.

So much of the show is about faith, and Kevin's faith in Nora's story — which neither we nor Kevin know to be true — is such a huge part of the scene and a very meaningful note to end the show on. Actually showing and not just telling would've ruined all of that.

Based on my experience Uber and Lyft are significantly cheaper than taxis, especially when going any sort of significant distance (for instance, Dupont to NoMa, ~$9 in Uber/Lyft vs ~$13 pre-tip in a cab).
