This show goes from strength to strength. I sincerely hope Disney/ABC makes a strategic decision to keep this corner of the MCU going regardless of ratings.

Even though Justice League: The Fellowship of the Box was a disjointed mess, I’d still prefer to see the DCEU shared universe in Joss Whedon’s hands, than back in Zack Snyder’s.

I’ll stick with Tyler Hoechlin’s delightful Superman on Supergirl.

At this point sadly, Cavill is associated with a sad/constipated/rage face from MoS. His superman has been forever ruined by Snyder-vision. I think the way to go forward is to swap him and Affleck via Flashpoint and give the reigns of DCEU to Patty Jenkins.

Captain Marvel is still Phase III. We don’t know anything yet about Phase IV.

Didn’t help Gwyneth Paltrow...also, it’s possible that she has been sexually harassed, just not at Pixar. Also, maybe Quincy Jones and Peggy Lipton prepared her in the same way that Tippi Hedren prepared Melanie Griffith and Dakota Johnson. Misogynoir is real, and I’m sure it cut for Rashida Jones.

Mother Boxes do a hell of a lot more than just open Boom Tubes. In the comics, they are hyper-advanced supercomputers. In the movie, they are perpetual energy machines that, when combined, can terraform a planet.

I’m not entirely sure why I find WB/DC’s ongoing ineptitude hilarious, but I do. Just thinking of sad Ben Affleck makes me laugh.

Superman returning being a spoiler is absolutely insane when you consider post credit scenes and advertising for this movie. It’d be a bigger surprise if he never showed up and instead we get Green Lantern popping up in his place.

to be fair. Wonder Woman is one billion times more famous than anybody Marvel had in their stable... so yeah hardly a difficult move for DC to make...

But Carol Danvers will have a cloaked quinjet sooner than Diana will have an invisible plane. And Carol will be called by her superhero name in-universe before Diana as well.

Props for reporting on this - I wouldn’t have heard about it otherwise. It’s good to see that most industries are pulling back the shades on sexual harassment and assault right now.
