I was really hoping they'd steer towards X-Cutioner's Song after Apocalypse, but they'd really have to pare down the amount of characters by a LOT, considering it was 5 different X-titles in the crossover and they've introduced very few of those (and some being alive in the 60s for some reason). They'd have to

This is what MK has always done from the beginning: Pushed the boundaries. The fact that they're still doing that so many years later is kind of awesome.

In Hitman, those women exist in the game for the sole purpose of being sexualized and brutalized. In Mortal Kombat, women and men kick each other's asses on equal levels depending on player skill. The latter is pretty much equal.

Seems like it changes from 8-bit to 16-bit between Kill Bill 1 & 2. Though arguably the early stuff is probably 16-bit too.

I want Jim Ross to narrate my entire life.

You know what was great in MMOs? Old-school corpse runs. Nowadays there are no consequences for dying in an MMO, other than a minor inconvenience of going back to where you died if you feel like it, and if you don't being slightly weaker for a few minutes if the game does rez sickness. Give me old school XP-losing,

Why was my first thought "So now I can do a whole shitton of blow and not get addicted or die?"

As a writer with a totally sweet ass, I call bullshit.

Why does it look like a model?

Tardigrades are particularly amazing if only for the fact that THEY CAN SURVIVE IN SPACE.

You really should. "Rogue River" is a turning point, and then there's a couple major deaths, and after that the tension ramps up almost constantly. It's a complete tonal shift.

Whoa there, cowboy. I said nothing about a conspiracy theory. But other game companies have come out and said Ubisoft was outright lying about adding playable women "doubling their work". They're just lazy. Especially since they already had a woman playable model in AC Liberation. Ubisoft has several best-selling AAA

Yeah, whenever I recommend it to someone I always tell them that the network wanted a family show at first, but if you stick it out to about episodes 8-10 it gets progressively more bleak and less "everything will be OK". Now I appreciate the earlier episodes more because all the petty family drama BS is more tragic

"Get off your damn high horse and realize that it's maybe not worth spending hundreds of thousands of extra dollars just to appease feminist whiners..."

Technically, by your definition, all games are 2nd person since you control the game and tell it what to do, by virtue of having a controller.

Wouldn't 2nd-person gameplay mean that the game is controlling you instead of you controlling the game?

I miss Jericho. Once the main plot got rolling, it was one of the best shows on TV. I still can't believe how effective the "Nuts" campaign was.

They have the money, so it's not like it would be difficult to move his shooting dates ahead several months and then film any scene with a double and the cast member he's talking to. Considering JJ Abrams is going more for practical effects instead of CGI, actors have had to play off of far worse than doubles (like a

M'lady.

Yeah well.... it's golf.
