This was the first thing I wondered as well. What scale does this game use to represent time and distance and can it be configured?

Yes, very similar to that. The closest I could find online was a review by Autogefuhl. Their review has an almost a perfect match to what I was able to sit in. Link will start at a good interior shot:

A memory stirs...wasn’t there this really old PC game called Smash TV? Something deep in my brain kind of remembers.

The other day, I got to sit in a new Porsche 718 and the interior upper trim was color matched to the exterior paint (kind of like a steel blue color) and the lower trim, seats and carpet were a nice ivory color. It was stunning and refreshing to sit in after the many black interiors I’ve had in my vehicles.

Since my wife and I are both average height at 5'7", my 11 year old has plenty of leg room and he’s just about 5' already. That kid is growing like mad...but yeah if you are a taller person then kids might not have as much room. But for us, the size of the car is just fine for a daily driver. We have the big, comfy

Hello fellow RS owner! Where do you drive? Northern Utah here.

Though I will certainly give credit to Buick for building the first good looking car from their brand in many years, given its price point, I would more likely pick up the new A5 sportback. I love the look of that thing and even it’s base model is well equipped.

I have to admit the new S5 liftback has me seriously contemplating adding that to the stable. It’s very sexy. What strange times to see liftbacks, fastbacks etc. staring to fight their way back into vogue. I’m fine with this!

Living close to the mountains is paradise for me. Camping in 15 minutes flat is great!

I work from home as well and I barely cracked even 4k miles this past year and that included one trip that took me 1,000 miles round trip. I’m still amazed at how lucky I’ve been with this job.

Sorry to hear that! Glad you weren’t harmed.

I live in northern Utah and I see it daily. Loads of people oblivious on so many levels and not just with their vehicles and status of oil changes, tire wear and other maintenance items.

Well, if you have the desire to do it..just do it :)

For a second, I thought you were just wise cracking but then I watched the video...holy shit he’s not kidding. Sure there is a place for quiet and refined cars but sometimes you want them to open up and roar.

This was exactly the problem for me even though I was only in a simulator. RHD really messed with my spatial awareness. Shifting was the easy part of the whole thing. I did not like being on the wrong side of the road at all.

Nicely done! I’ve only spent simulator seat time on an RHD and it was disorienting. Shifting I adapted to, but I struggled with street driving. After a period of time I would mentally start wandering back to the right side of the road and make traditional left turns. Super glad it was just a simulator setup!

Not trying to pick on you but I would KILL to have a 10 min/mile pace. I’m excited if I’m pulling 13 min/mile for 4 miles. I’m not terribly out of shape but I’m never been a strong runner.

That’s too bad but not entirely unexpected as so many new technologies become more accessible and usable without proper oversight. I’ve heard of other local municipalities dipping into Orwellian style surveillance and try to fudge into legal grey areas until they get caught and rightly so.

Being in Utah, if I go hiking in the deeper woods (or desert areas) and run into a pair of guys holding rifles then things are pretty much standard operating procedure. In fact, it would be more unusual if I was way out there without some kind of firearm. I’m not saying all hiking trails that are popular are lousy

Until I see otherwise with my own eyes, I am convinced that they are, in fact, marching down the road! Thanks for the laugh though, the comment struck me funny.
