If you ever feel so inclined, I would thoroughly enjoy seeing photos of all that, especially the redwood. That’s just amazing.

Another valid point. Not enjoying the work itself and having the available distractions in the home environment would certainly equal disaster. I do sneak in some netflix when I run automated tests and builds or long compiles but usually just as background noise (I honestly cannot tell you how many times I have been…
No, no, I think your points are valid and working from home isn’t well suited for numerous lines of work. I primarily do software development, QA and occasionally root cause analysis with debugging escalated customer issues so I think my particular role is better suited to working from home.
Reading your post, along with everybody else here, I am reminded just how damn lucky I am that I have been able to work from home for 8 years now.
Cannot agree with you more. My grandpa and dad both carried those when they worked on projects. I learned after a couple of my projects where I neglected to use one and ended up having to redo work because it wasn’t properly square.
The Weekender? Is that the one I’m thinking of? I built some fun projects thanks to that sub-blog here. My wife’s favorite was the rolling pantry between the wall and fridge.
I tried to give you extra stars, but it didn’t let me :)
I’m both a Subaru and Ford fan (08 WRX hatch and later, an 08 STi hatch). With Ford I had a 2015 Mustang 2.3EB and until just a couple weeks ago, a 2014 Focus ST.
Funny you mention this since my guild mates and I have discussed this very thing. We’ve been playing WoW since launch at the end of 04 and we all still play it simply because of this fact: we all play it together.
Actually, I’m with you on that. The last gen Maxima was all over the place (exterior and interior, any angle) and I feel like this new gen has a cohesive look from all angles. The new interior is also sublime. Huge step up from previous generations.
The pain. My sides. *gasps for breath* How have I not seen this before? You made my Monday. Thank you. That was some seriously good editing.
This hits me sooooooo hard. So. Hard.
My boss and I are the same. Keyboard shortcuts, cmd prompts, batch jobs, scripts etc. to do work appear magical to others that are supposed to be on the same technical level.
That’s a relief. It appears the only association here, and it’s a real stretch, is that Dr Pepper once sponsored Celebrity Apprentice when it was on air. That’s it. Trump isn’t making money off Dr Pepper and there really doesn’t appear to be anything beyond them sponsoring a TV show which a lot of businesses did so…
Citation? Not trolling, honestly curious. Dr Pepper and I are life long friends but I came up empty in trying to find any business association with Trump and Dr. Pepper Snapple (NYSE:DPS).
I had the same thought. My brain is torn between miniature person or comically oversized car. I could stand next to my 2016 F150 and feel like I would fit the profile in the photo better than this person does next to this V90. Is this V90 really that big? Or are we just dealing with a warped perspective issue from the…
I read that whole thing with Zap Brannigan’s voice in my head. Worked wonderfully.
We currently own a 2014 Focus ST and we had a 2011 MK6 GTI for a few years. I will straight up say the 2 door GTI was more user friendly, more family friendly and easier to haul stuff and kids than my ST does despite having two more doors.
This was missing from my life. I had no idea. My sides and cheeks ache from laughing at this guy.
Yup! V6 there though I could tell from the first image of freaking engine and attached transmission facing the wrong direction next to the drivers seat on the ground. WOW.
