great..now I’m gonna have this song stuck in my head for the next 4 months.

mushroom mushroom!

came here to post this, thinking I was up to some clever shit. Was pleased to have been corrected.

Holy shit I forgot about this

There’s enough room to dislike everyone!

Oh no! They are literally disappearing from history! Their confederate hands are fading while playing the guitar at the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance in 1955!

To make sure that people wouldn’t turn out to protest the removal. It’s clear that these things are a rallying point for the white supremacy folks and publicizing the removal would have likely led to a clusterfuck of protesters both for and against the removal.

Because they’re trying to minimize the chances of a bunch of Nazis showing up and murdering people.

Hell yeah. Anyone involved in removing these statues is a true patriot, fighting to make America a better place and rejecting a treasonous anti-American movement.

This is how they should all be removed...with as little fanfare as possible. Make the decision, take them down, and don’t give Nazi and Confederate fanboys time to make sad eyes over their lost heroes - or use them as an excuse to spread death and destruction.

“These people were terrorists. They were traitors. Why are we honoring them?”

It shouldn’t take Dylann Roof and Cville to make these things happen, but at least we are showing the world our racism pendulum swings in the other direction, too.

Wow so brave

*If*, and it’s a huge *if* he really is proposing, it’s not even in the same country, just the same continent. If William had proposed in London, would that mean Harry wouldn’t be able to propose anywhere in the British isles?

Wide awake.

So as painful and surreal and fucked up as my situation was, I don’t ever want to use this as an example to justify anything.
